Install the MiniDrop rider app and sign in

Your shop added you as a rider. Now you set up the app on your phone. It takes about five minutes.

What you need#

• An Android phone with internet.

• The email from your shop. It says you are invited to deliver for the shop. It has your sign-in email and a temporary password.

   Step 1: Install the app

   Open the email on your phone. Tap the button to get the app. If there is no button, ask your shop for the link. The app is called MiniDrop - Rider.

   Step 2: Sign in

   Open the app. Type your Email and the temporary Password from the email. Tap Login.

   Step 3: Choose your own password

   The first time, the app shows Update your password. Type the temporary password under Current password. Choose a New password of at least 6 characters. Type it again under Confirm new password. Tap Update password.

   Step 4: Allow location

   The phone asks about location. Choose Allow all the time (some phones say Always). Your shop can then send you orders that are close to you, and customers can see you on the way.

   If you missed it, the home screen shows Location required with a button Open Settings.

   Step 5: Allow notifications

   Say yes when the phone asks about notifications. This is how you hear about a new trip. If you said no, the home screen shows Notifications required and Open Settings.

   Step 6: Go online

   On the home screen, switch Status to Online. It says Receiving orders for your shop. Only riders who are online get trips.

Switching off#

When your day ends, switch Status back to Offline. The app stops sharing your location and you do not get new trips.
