On this page

A wrong map pin sends a rider to the wrong lane, and the customer waits. After a delivery, MiniDrop compares the spot where the rider delivered with the pin you had saved. If they are far apart, it asks you to decide which one is right.

When you will see it#

A yellow banner appears on your Dashboard and on Saved addresses. It says, for example, "1 delivery location mismatch" and "A rider delivered away from a saved pin." Press Review to open the page.

  1. Step 1: Open Delivery location mismatches

Press Review on the yellow banner. Each card shows a small map, the order number, the date, the customer's name, phone and saved address, and how far apart the two spots are, for example "120 m apart".

  2. Step 2: Read the map

The green S is your saved pin. The blue R is where the rider delivered. A dashed line joins them. If R is on the customer's real gate and S was slightly off, R is the better spot.

  3. Step 3: Choose what to do

Press Update saved address to move the saved pin to R. A box asks you to confirm with Yes, update address. From then on, new orders for this saved address use the new pin. Press Dismiss if the saved pin is right (for example, the rider stopped at a main gate). The saved address is not changed.

  4. Step 4: Clear several at once

If you do not want to change any of them, press Dismiss all at the top and confirm with Yes, dismiss all.

Why it matters#

Every wrong pin costs a phone call, a late delivery and sometimes a second trip. Fixing a pin once means the next delivery to that customer goes straight to the right place.

Does updating change the customer's past orders?

No. Only the saved address changes, so it affects future orders that use it.

I do not see any mismatches.

That is good news. The page only lists deliveries completed away from the saved pin.

Can I fix a pin myself without waiting?

Yes. Open Saved addresses, edit the address and move the pin. Here is how.
