MiniDrop for bakeries

Delivery app for bakeries and cake shops

Cakes that arrive on time and in one piece.

Bakery orders are personal: a birthday cake, an anniversary order, a box of sweets for a festival. Arriving late or damaged is not an option.

MiniDrop helps you plan those deliveries ahead, choose the right rider, and keep the customer informed while the order is on the way.

How MiniDrop helps bakeries

  • The problem

Cakes are fragile and should not be the tenth stop on a long route.

Send a fragile order on its own trip, or limit how many orders a rider carries, so cakes go straight to the customer.

    Delivery management
  • The problem

Birthday orders have to arrive before the party, not during it.

Keep the order in the queue and dispatch it when it should leave, by hand or at fixed daily dispatch times. The customer follows it on the tracking link.

    Route optimisation
  • The problem

Festival peaks: Diwali, Christmas and Onam boxes all leave the same week.

Dispatch the day's orders together and MiniDrop plans multi-drop routes across all your riders.

    Route optimisation
  • The problem

Regular customers order the same boxes again and again.

Saved customers and addresses make repeat deliveries quick to create.

Questions from bakeries

Can I schedule a cake delivery for a specific time?

Create the order and dispatch it when it should leave: by hand, or at fixed dispatch times you set for each day. Your customer can follow the rider on the tracking link.

Can I keep fragile orders off long routes?

Yes. Dispatch a fragile order on its own, or set a short delivery window so it is dropped early in the route.

Can I add riders just for festival weeks?

Yes. Add them as riders in the outlet portal for the busy weeks; they sign in to the rider app like your regular staff.

Can bakeries use their own riders with MiniDrop?

Yes. Add your delivery staff as riders in the outlet portal. They use the MiniDrop rider app to see trips, navigate to each stop and mark orders picked up and delivered.

How do customers track their delivery?

Every assigned order gets a private tracking link that shows the order status, the rider's live position on a map, how many stops are before theirs and an arrival estimate.

How much does MiniDrop cost?

Pricing depends on how your business delivers. Talk to us on the contact page and we will explain the options for your business.
