Each assigned order has a 4-digit pickup code. The portal calls it a Pickup OTP, which just means a one-time code. A rider can use it to tell the app that they have collected the order from you.

Where to find the code#

  • On Orders, an assigned order shows a small orange tag, for example Pickup OTP: 1234.

  • Inside Order Details, an orange box called Pickup OTP shows the code, with the text "Share this 4-digit OTP with the rider at pickup."

The code shows only while the order is Assigned, which means the rider has the order but has not picked it up yet. Each order has its own code.

When a rider asks for it#

When a rider marks an order as picked up, the rider app normally checks that the rider is at your shop. If the app thinks the rider is far from the pickup location, for example because of weak phone signal, it says "You seem to be far from the pickup location" and offers to continue with a code. The rider then sees a screen called Pickup with OTP, which asks you for the 4-digit code.

  1. Step 1: Ask who the order is for

Check that the rider in front of you is the one who has this order. The rider's name is on the order under Rider Details.

  2. Step 2: Find the order

Open Orders and search for the customer or the order number, or look at the Live tab.

  3. Step 3: Read out the code

Tell the rider the 4-digit Pickup OTP. The rider types it in and the order is marked as picked up.

Is the code the same for every order?

No. Each order has its own code.

The code is not showing.

It shows only for Assigned orders. A Pending order has no rider yet, and a picked-up order no longer needs it.

Does the customer need the code?

No. The customer uses only the tracking link. See what the customer sees.
