Most "where is my order?" calls stop once the customer can see the answer themselves. Every order that has a rider gets its own tracking link. It opens in the customer's phone browser, with no app to install.

  1. Step 1: Open the order

Go to Orders and open the Live tab. Next to each order that has a rider you see Copy tracking link and a green Track button. Before a rider is assigned the buttons are not shown.

  2. Step 2: Check what the customer will see

Press Track. A new tab opens with the page exactly as the customer sees it.

  3. Step 3: Copy and send

Press Copy tracking link and send it to the customer in a message you already use, such as WhatsApp or SMS. You can also copy it from inside Order Details.

What your customer sees#

A customer tracking page on a phone: the shop logo and name at the top, 'On the way: 1 delivery before yours', a map with the rider, four progress steps, the delivery area, the rider's first name and a Call button

This is a real tracking page for a made-up shop. Your shop's name and logo sit at the top.

  • A clear line such as "On the way: 2 deliveries before yours", with dots showing how many stops come before theirs.

  • An arrival estimate such as "Arriving in 15–25 min", when one is available.

  • A map with the rider moving towards them.

  • Four steps: Assigned, Picked up, On the way and Delivered.

  • The area they are delivering to and the rider's first name.

  • A Call button for the rider, if you leave the setting on. Change it in your business profile.

The page updates by itself while the delivery is on the way. See what makes this page useful.

It stays private#

  • Only people with the link can open it, and it does not appear in Google search.

  • It stops working a day after the order is completed. After that the page says "This tracking link has expired".

  • It shows the rider's first name and a short delivery area, not a full address.

Does my customer need to install anything?

No. It is a web page that opens in any phone browser.

The Track button is not there.

The link exists only after a rider is assigned. Dispatch and approve the route first. Here is how.

How do I add my logo?

Upload it in your business profile. See how.
