Is MiniDrop a food ordering app?
No. Customers keep ordering the way they do today. MiniDrop manages the delivery: riders, routes, tracking and history.
Can my restaurant's POS create deliveries automatically?
If your POS or ordering system can call an API, yes: the MiniDrop API creates the delivery and webhooks report every status change back.
Can a rider carry several orders at once?
Yes. Each rider has a limit on active trips, and route optimisation groups nearby orders into one multi-drop trip within that limit.
Can restaurants use their own riders with MiniDrop?
Yes. Add your delivery staff as riders in the outlet portal. They use the MiniDrop rider app to see trips, navigate to each stop and mark orders picked up and delivered.
How do customers track their delivery?
Every assigned order gets a private tracking link that shows the order status, the rider's live position on a map, how many stops are before theirs and an arrival estimate.
